Calendar with important Dates and EventsThe Sri Ramakrishna Math Thrissur celebrates Events of religious, spiritual significance. The birthdays of the direct disciples of Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna are also celebrated with special pujas and lectures on their lives.All the Sri Ramakrishna Ashramas give special significance to Ekadasi days as shown on the calendar. A great tradition started by the late Revered Swami Brahmanandaji Maharaj, a direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Rama Nama Sankirtan is sung after the evening Arati (vespers) to mark the occasion. Monthly Retreats Every second Sunday, monthly spiritual retreats are organized at the Thrissur Math. Devotees are welcome to attend the satsang, arati and bhajan sessions. Please note there will be no monthly retreats during the months in which the Durga Pooja and the Birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, The Holy Mother and Swami Vivekananda are celebrated at the Math.
